What is Team Americano?
Team Americano is played like a regular Americano for a fixed number of points per match, but instead of rotating partners you play in fixed teams for the entire tournament. You can think of it as a small league, where the same team keeps competing from start to finish.
How it works
The tournament is finished when every team has faced every other team once. In each match, points are played as usual (for example 32 points), then the result is added to the team standings.
Example (teams are fixed)
Team A gets 17 points, Team B gets 15 points. After all matches are played, the team with the highest total score wins.
Tip: If you have many teams, consider reducing points per match (or playing sets) to keep the total tournament time reasonable.
